The Swing Commanders is a stunningly vibrant and versatile group that performes an exciting mix of 1940's classics, boogie-woogie, western swing, 50's jump jazz and more! Each member of this extremely talented group sings and plays at least one instrument, sometimes three! Taking well crafted songs from the thirties through to the fifties, from American Songbook classics to Western Swing and Novelty songs, and overlay them with lush vocal harmonies and hot solos. The rhythems, varying from ballands to jive in quickstep, are great for dances, theatre shows and parties.
